Google+ excels in fast-growth markets
Research from GlobalWebIndex has found that Google+ is in a strong position in the social network landscape.
While some people have Google+ accounts because they were required to create them in order to use other services, it’s clear that Google+ still has a loyal following – 1 in 4 internet users use the service each month.
Fast-growth markets, rather than mature internet countries are the network’s best performers; in Latin America a third of internet users stated they had contributed to Google+ in the past month, followed by the Middle East & Africa with 29%.
