Teenagers across the world from UK to Singapore are overwhelmingly using Snapchat, with at least 75% on the platform, according to Global Web Index.

The data shows why the forthcoming Snap Inc. IPO could see the platform valued so highly. Almost all the markets where Snapchat teen membership is highest are mature, relatively affluent countries. With such a vast reach among a demographic that is perennially coveted by brands and marketers, Snap Inc. is in a powerful position heading into its IPO.

And with the launch of Spectacles, its new smart glasses, the company will be hoping to solidify the interest of its core users even as the demographics of the Snapchat audience continue to broaden.
