Social Thinking

There’s no doubt that social media has hugely affected how consumers, organisations and brands interact online. With chatbots and automated assistants, which have been proclaimed as the next digital leap, our patterns and behaviours are bound to be altered once more. However, chatbots also have the potential to dramatically alter how we purchase products and services online.

Services and products like Uber and Apple Pay have simplified how we travel and pay and now chatbots and voice tech have the potential to disrupt and improve how we shop. Although chatbots at this point almost seem like old news, there’s no doubt that this digital space will continue to advance and evolve explosively. So, getting one-up on your competitors or being able to help your clients be a first-mover in their industry can give you a significant strategic advantage.

If you’re going to be attending SXSW this year, we will give you exactly that at our talk, The Automated Assistant Revolution. If you want insights about what the future holds for automated assistants, in terms of customer service and, especially, sales, this is the one event you don’t want to miss. Not only is it one of the hottest topics in digital and social media, the panel is also a gathering of some of the people at the forefront of developing the chatbot space. Hosted and moderated by our very own Mobbie Nazir, the panel will feature Ido Iungelson, Director of Operations and Revenue at Viber, Asher Rapkin, Product Marketing Communications Lead at Facebook and Seth Harris, Technical Program Manager at Twitter.

Facebook is one of the biggest drivers of the chatbot revolution and by attending this event you will no doubt get an idea of what they are working on and how you can leverage Facebook Messenger bots in your own work.

Don’t get left in the digital dust. If you’re at SXSW, this is one area of the digital future you don’t want to miss out on and this talk is the first step to understanding and dominating that space in the future.

If you’re at SXSW and want to chat about chatbots, potential partnerships or agency work, make sure you hit up either Tom Ollerton or Matthew Payne, our in-house innovation drivers.
