\ Resource Manager

At We Are Social the Resource Manager works autonomously to manage the efficient workflow through the agency. You will have an agency background and know what it takes to be a great traffic manager in today’s world of communications and social channels.

You have a proven ability to manage the fast-paced requirements of creative, design and production resources, and will have executed effective digital, social and integrated campaigns for leading brands. You also have a knack for building strong and productive relationships with the agency team.
You will have a strong understanding and passion for all things social, digital & content.

Specific Content of your Role

The nature of our business requires a high level of flexibility, common sense and versatility. While the specific content of your role is clearly defined, the nature of the demands placed on us and the creativity of our campaigns means that this person needs to have a ‘can do’ approach to managing projects and following them through working with all stakeholders. The right candidate will need an eye for detail, be process driven, and have the ability to take charge.

Some of your key duties will include:

Project & Traffic Management

Be across all the projects in the agency, so that the resourcing is effective and efficient.
Be across the briefs in the agency and work with Client Service and Heads of Departments to set up timelines for delivery.
Be able to manage and allocate resources to jobs so that workflows through the creative, design, production and editing resources.
Be able to manage timelines (as agreed with HOD) and manage work keeping within estimated hours & budget.
Be able to manage an effective workflow system.
Be highly organised and skilled in administrating process.
Be able to administer the WIP and have a dialogue with internal stakeholders to ensure the team has full visibility of workflow.
Be able to work with the CSD and HOD to ensure adequate resource (internal) is in place to service the volume of work.
Be able to review bookings and requirements with HODs to ensure there is enough time booked in per project brief.
Generally, help to prioritise workflow through the agency.
Recognise where people aren’t adhering to the process, flag with HOD and then redirect and re-train as required.
Manage delivery expectations with Client Service team updating status proactively.
Project Budget Health Tracking.

Staff upskilling

You would ideally have around 3-5 years in an agency environment either in a project manager role or traffic role.
Knowledge of Apple programs, Google Docs, Harvest Forecast & Workbook.
