The role

An Account Executive is the entry point into your Client Service career, the beginning of your journey. With the opportunity to work across multiple clients, your role is focused on the day to day, contributing to the successful planning, execution, and delivery of all the work that goes out in the agency. You’ll be working closely with your manager, but you also thrive independently as you are super productive and value attention to detail and accuracy.

Keeping abreast of the industry is a must, and excellent knowledge of social media trends is encouraged. As a social native you play an active role in contributing to the learning environment at We Are Social and if you’re up for it you’ll even be in our TikToks!

At We Are Social we truly believe we create Ideas Worth Talking About (IDWTA); this role is central in making sure we deliver to that by ensuring that they set the team up for success. This is not done alone. This role will work alongside a talented and high performance Client Service team, along with Strategy, Editorial, Creative and Production. Together we truly shape the role social media plays in advertising with clients.

Key responsibilities

Project and resource management

  • You are organised and have an excellent attention to detail
  • You take direction, but can also work autonomously
  • You display excellent project management skills
  • You have a can-do attitude and approach all tasks with blind optimism
  • You have the ability to manage many projects simultaneously
  • You can translate client briefs and turn it into directional and clear internal briefs

Relationship management

  • You can build trust with your team members as well as key client contacts by treating every task with care and professionalism
  • Always communicates in an open and honest way and acts with integrity

Creative Contribution

  • Continually develop your understanding of social media and its application for our clients by researching and sharing trends and great work across the industry
  • Contribute to the strategic and creative processes by sharing your ideas and collaborating with your team across the business

Your skills and experience

  • 1+ year agency experience
  • Social platform and media knowledge
  • Project management expertise
  • Strong communication skills
  • Client relationship management
  • Thirst for knowledge and learning
  • Proactivity, quick thinking and problem solving skills
