Are you a social media enthusiast? Are you fluent in at least one Asian language? Are you ready to join one of the world’s most exciting companies? Then we want to hear from you!

We Are Social has been winning the biggest and best social media accounts around the world in recent weeks, and we’re bringing many of these accounts to life in Asia.

Our Singapore office is already handling social media activities for a number of household name brands, and we’re adding big new clients all the time. As a result, we’re looking to hire a number of amazing individuals for our Singapore team.

So, if you’d like the chance to join one of the world’s most exciting companies, now is the time! We’re always happy to hear from candidates at all levels, but we’d especially like to hear from people who fit the following roles:

Account Directors: you’ll have a minimum of 7 years of marketing experience, with at least two of those years dedicated to social media accounts. You’re more than just a client servicing person though, and you know how to translate clients’ needs into world-class social media strategies and action plans. What’s more, you’re adept at communicating these strategies and plans both verbally and through written proposals and presentations. You’re open-minded and highly curious, and you’re comfortable managing clients across diverse industries and countries. In line with our growth rate, you’re also excited by an ever-expanding remit.

Research & Insights Specialists: we’re looking for a number of R&I enthusiasts at a range of levels and experience, but some things will be true of everyone. Firstly, you’re a true anthropologist at heart, and people watching comes naturally to you. You also have a knack for identifying and understanding people’s underlying motivations, while patterns and trends in data seem to jump out at you. You’re experienced in using social media monitoring tools, and you’re totally at ease manipulating vast amounts of data in Excel. Critically, you also know that numbers and data need to be interpreted before they can add real value, and you know how to explain your findings to other people who are often intimidated by data.

Account Managers: you’ll have a minimum of 4 years of marketing experience, probably at an advertising or PR agency. You’ve been actively involved in social media projects in your current role, but social media is also something you choose to explore in your spare time. Your energy and enthusiasm win over everyone, from interns to CEOs. You know how to inspire and guide a young, highly intelligent and ambitious team, and you’re an expert in scheduling large projects into specific tasks and activities. You also know you’ve got lots left to learn, but you see that as an exciting opportunity, and you take every chance you can get to add new skills to your repertoire.

Account Executives: you’re a recent graduate with a natural flair for marketing and social media. You want to start your career in a role that challenges you for the right reasons, and you know that the best way to learn is to dive in at the deep end. You’re an enthusiastic explorer of all things social, digital and mobile, and you can adapt your working style and manner to a variety of different situations. You’re excited by the idea of working in a constantly evolving environment, and you’re willing to share your own ideas as well as learn from some of our industry’s most inspiring minds.

In addition to the specific needs outlined above, you must also be:

If all that sounds like your kind of opportunity, you should start by emailing us your CV, telling us which role you’re interested in, and why you think you’re the right fit for it.

However, the easiest way to stand out as the ideal candidate is to connect with the Singapore team – as individuals and as a company – through social media. We’re active across many different social channels, so get inventive – just because you’re applying for a job doesn’t mean you need to follow convention!

And as with all things social, a personalised approach will be the most persuasive – anyone starting their application with “Dear Sir / Madam”, or “To whom it may concern”, should not expect a favourable response.

Lastly, please note that we do not deal with recruitment agencies or headhunters – we firmly believe that it’s only those people that have the initiative to seek us out, or that shine brightly enough for us to approach them, that are the right people to join our team.
