The role

What does the role involve?

Great ideas can come from anywhere across the agency. It will be your job to inspire, spot and develop great ideas and then turn them into great executions. You are also able to have good craft, understand strategy, and most importantly, able to bring out the best in others. The candidate will work with the Account Management and Creative disciplines to design creative solutions that address needs, developing enhanced and interactive user-experiences, and demonstrating prototypes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the generation of beautifully crafted, innovative, fresh, and engaging visual concepts that effectively communicate the client’s message
  • Collaborate with the Executive Creative Director in setting creative standards and unlock exceptional creative work. 
  • Lead and collaborate in the brainstorms with creatives, account management and planning teams to expand the range of creative solutions for existing clients, and prospective ones.
  • Demonstrate a sharp understanding of strategy project briefs and creative platforms to facilitate discussions with teams and craft exceptional presentations.
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to team members to refine and enhance creative ideas and craft.
  • Take a leading position in managing the agency’s client relationships, which involves presenting creative ideas, strategies and proposals, and engage in client discussions. 
  • Think laterally and design innovation solutions with a good handle on what’s new in the digital space and social space, and inspires the agency surrounding creative technology
  • Champions We Are Social as a forward-thinking challenger brand leveraging new social media, social gaming and augmented reality, etc.
  • Work with the creatives, developers and others to turn ideas into top class executions
  • Keeping abreast with advancements in application design and new technologies.

Requirements

  • You have a passion for creativity, innovation and have your finger on the pulse of the latest trends and technology
  • Extensive experience in designing, producing and optimising assets and technical solutions.
  • As one of the agency’s leaders, you will be confident, inspiring, motivating and smart as hell. 
  • You will be teaching by doing, nurturing and showing people the big opportunities. 
  • Superb collaboration and communication skills.
  • Familiar with the principles of human-centered design methods, information architecture, usability, and interface and interaction design

You should also be confident in all of the areas laid out below:

  • Leadership. This isn’t all about you coming up with the idea every time. It’s about teaching people how to do it themselves and bringing out those qualities in them.
  • Industry knowledge and expertise. You won’t just love creative work, you will live it. In fact, you are probably obsessed with it and want to talk to others about it.
  • Presentation. You will be comfortable standing in front of a room with everyone’s eyes on you. You will be able to present work with fully thought through argument. You will be eloquent and able to articulate your thoughts and capable of adapting your presentation style to suit the situation.
  • Persuasion. You will be good at winning people around to your thinking. Especially if they’re clients.
  • Pitching In. You will not be above lending a hand to others and doing things that fall outside the remit of a traditional creative. We are all in this together.
