As an Influencer Specialist at We Are Social, you will be responsible for leading the regional influencer offering and driving top line business growth by developing and marketing our influencer proposition.

As an Influencer Specialist, you will collaborate with teams across the agency to develop innovative creator and influencer strategies, while ensuring that we plan and implement efficient, authentic and targeted influencer campaigns for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Market knowledge and expertise

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the influence marketing landscape and key trends across platforms, at a local and international level
  • Understand, research and share market trends and their evolutions. Being updated on the most relevant campaigns, significant projects and effective approaches is key for this role
  • Distribute this expertise and knowledge across internal teams and clients through training and workshops
  • Participates in pitching and client engagement initiatives to drive the agency’s overall expertise in influencer
  • In collaboration with the network and R&I refines how influencer marketing is measured
  • Be interested in Web3 technologies and their potential to shape shift influencer marketing and creator economics
  • Helpful if you are a creator yourself, with a zeal for developing creative solutions and content


  • Establish resources and educate clients and internal teams on best practices, develop customised strategies based on data, help solve technical issues, and optimise overall influencer performance across clients
  • Identify main KPIs of an influence marketing campaign and analyse results
  • Grow the influence marketing offering at We Are Social and develop processes to increase effectiveness, by leveraging our global tool set
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard potential creators and influencers to build our database of partnerships


  • Conception and implementation of creative influencer campaigns, taking into account the relevant target group, marketing goals and budget planning
  • Oversee outreach, contracts and ongoing management of influence marketing campaigns
  • Identification and acquisition of suitable influencers for our customers and projects as well as maintenance and development of existing contacts


  • Completed studies in the field of media/communication science, marketing, business administration or in a comparable field
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in influencer management/ marketing, ideally in an agency context
  • High affinity and passion for social media and experienced handling of social media channels
  • Intuition for current trends and developments
  • Strong hands-on mentality
  • Experience working with influencers and managing talent relationships
  • Culturally connected with an obsession of all things pop culture
  • Actively contributes to the creative process and builds on ideas
  • Experience in creating social media content and driving measurement efforts for social and/or influencer programs including calculating benchmarks and analysing performance
  • Experience working with influencers on new and/or emerging platforms (TikTok, Twitch etc)
