We’re looking for a Writer and creative who knows social media inside out to join our ever-growing editorial team. You must have exceptional writing skills and understand the importance of being on the cusp of emerging trends.
Knowledge of social platforms (particularly TikTok) is a must, alongside feeling confident about being client-facing. Knowing how Gen-Z consumes social media – particularly video-first content like Tik Tok and Reels, is hugely beneficial. Working alongside our creative and design team, you’ll have the opportunity to come up with exciting ideas
Requirements
You’ll live and breathe social, with a list of favourite content creators, Discord servers, and sub-Reddits as your mainline into the culture. You’ll be abreast of all the latest news and trends from following the right influencers on TikTok to knowing the next trending sound and be quick off the mark when it comes to social platform growth and development.
This is a role, where your skills for creative and editorial will align. identifying stories for audiences, crafting ideas to create content they’ll love, and showing that we understand the audience and culture they play in – whether that’s a quick meme, video execution, or a killer community management response alongside posting content on the channels.
You’ll work closely with the different departments in our agency – so if you are inquisitive and love working collaboratively then you need to apply.
Main responsibilities
– Craft consistently brilliant social copy for social media channels
– Handle the day-to-day community management and engage with the community
– Update editorial planning calendars and create laydowns
– Use insights to bring your content to life
– Contribute to our daily newsroom within the department
What are we looking for?
– Someone who is excited by creative social output
– Someone who is used to working in an environment where there are deadlines to work to
– Good social platform knowledge
– Knowledge of video, Tik Tok and/or Instagram and how to create content for them
– Someone who is used to working in a reactive way due to the every changing social landscape
