Start spreading the news! As you might have read in the New York Times or MediaPost, we’re delighted to announce that We Are Social New York is officially open for business.
Home to some of the world’s leading and most iconic brands; we’ve been planning our US launch for some time. Those of you who have followed our progress since the beginning, just under four years ago, will know that building our global capabilities has been a fundamental aspect of our growth strategy.
Rounding out our global offering, We Are Social New York is our eighth office worldwide and expands our presence to five continents. Marketers looking for social media support on a global basis now have access to a proven agency partner they can work with.
Not only one of the world’s biggest and most consistently progressive markets, the US is also the birthplace of many of the brands that have fundamentally redefined the way people connect with each other today; including Facebook, Twitter and Google to name but a few. So we’re in good company…
We’ve spent the last few months gearing up for the launch, and with a fantastic local team in place, some exciting projects lined up (and snazzy Soho offices!), we’re immensely excited about this new chapter of our growth.
Some of you may recognize me from the early days of We Are Social in London. Little did I know that the tweet I sent to @RobinGrant at the start of 2009 would lead me to become one of the first employees of the company that has grown to the impressive global team of 160 it is today. I’m immensely proud to have played a part in the company’s growth to date, and have no doubt that we’ll be building upon that success here in North America.
