WhatsApp is making it easier to message yourself
Ever need to send a quick ‘note to self’? Now you can, as WhatsApp is rolling out a feature that lets you chat with yourself. ‘Message Yourself’ allows users to send notes, reminders and shopping to themselves. You’ll be able to find yourself at the top of the contacts list; all you need to do is click on your name and start the conversation. The feature is rolling out to all users over the coming weeks, so keep an eye out.

Musk to offer amnesty to suspended accounts
Another week, another twist in the tale of Twitter. Following another poll on his page, Elon Musk has announced a general amnesty for suspended Twitter accounts. 3.1m votes were recorded by the poll, with 72% in favour of an amnesty.  This decision comes after the Twitter boss reinstated Donald Trump’s account, as well as the profiles of US rapper Ye and Andrew Tate. In other news, Musk is finally bringing back his multicoloured verification system this week, after it experienced some teething problems the first time around. Let’s see if this time will prove more successful.

LinkedIn now lets your schedule posts for a later time
Anyone who works in social media loves a bit of scheduling, so this latest announcement from LinkedIn is Christmas come early for them. LinkedIn will now let users to schedule posts to send at a later time. Those who have the feature will see a little clock icon beside the ‘post’ button within the message box. When clicked, you can choose a specific date and half-hourly slot that you’d like to schedule your post for.
