The role

We are looking for a Producer to join our team and work across our key accounts – bringing with them experience in delivering varied types of content for distribution across web and social, with an enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

The Producer will be a full-time team member responsible for delivering projects on an ongoing basis, collaborating closely with the Account and Creative teams. You will draw on your existing knowledge and expertise of how to produce and execute deliverables efficiently, including budgeting, delivering timelines, booking resources, and managing fast-moving pre- and post-production workflows.

You need to be a natural and confident communicator, friendly and approachable with attention to detail and accuracy in all communication, whether internal or external. You should have a solid understanding of all phases of production and a willingness to get your hands dirty – from building shot lists, location scouting, sourcing props, quality checking assets, or even set decorating – you’re down for whatever it takes to get the job done, on-time and on-budget.

Another part of the role is focused on content and asset management. You will have previous post production coordination experience with an understanding of versioning and asset tracking best practices for social or digital content. The ideal candidate has the hands-on experience of a Producer with the organizational mind and habits of a Project Manager.

Requirements

What does the role involve?

  • Taking ownership of assigned production projects and see them through to completion, but also…
  • Creating timelines, estimating creative lift, booking and managing resources and ensuring that agency and freelance resources are used efficiently
  • Managing production budgets and reconciling shoots
  • Attending shoots and events at our New York office and on-location
  • Owning pre- and post-production workflows for always-on content initiatives
  • Ensuring all work is signed off at the right stages, by the right people
  • Working with Accounts and Finance to properly reconcile production and post-production phases

What are we looking for?

  • Production experience with a strong focus on social content deliverables
  • Familiar with agency turn-around times and ways of working, good understanding of the dynamics of agency processes, and enjoy the pace and challenges this brings
  • Proactive and good at foreseeing production challenges, with the ability to mitigate issues as soon as they are identified, propose creative solutions, and know when to escalate issues
  • Detail oriented and able to juggle multiple project assignments at once
  • Confident and positive with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Creative and plugged in to social content trends
  • Mobile-first production background a plus
  • Experience in Workbook or similar agency management tool a plus
