The role

We Are Social is looking for an experienced Paid Social Specialist to join our team in Amsterdam. This role will be dedicated to one of our top global clients and be responsible for activation and execution of paid social campaigns across platforms and objectives. 

You will get exposure to well-known global clients, work together with a diverse global team, and gain experience  across a range of campaigns. This position will be connected to our global media department through the Global Head of Media.

This is a client-facing role that requires data-driven media thinking. The successful candidate will seek to develop a deep understanding of the client’s needs, improve performance and identify opportunities for innovation. You will work with the client as part of their team, representing We Are Social. 

In addition to the above you’ll also be responsible for: 

  • Defining and activating best-in-class paid social strategy across channels
  • Implementing approved media plans and managing campaigns end-to-end  including setup, optimization, pacing and reporting.
  • Measuring campaign performance and developing insight-driven reports using a combination of tools and techniques. 
  • Analysing and making recommendations to creative and client teams to improve performance across a range of metrics
  • .Keeping up-to-date with platform features, industry changes and trends to deliver award-winning paid social campaigns
  • Working closely with Creative departments to maximise campaign impact

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing and optimising paid social campaigns on Meta and TikTok Business Managers, and an understanding of performance levers (at least 2 years)
  • Experience using Sprinklr to run paid social campaigns is a bonus
  • Be fluent in features and functionality available across key social channels
  • Excellent excel skills, with the ability to turn the data into actions.
  • Strong proactive communication skills and experience in a client-facing role
  • An attention to detail and commitment to error-free execution.
  • Collaborative mentality, able to both provide support and ask for it.
  • Knowledgeability about the industry (best editorial cases, creators, formats)
  • An interest in social media and paid media, and a desire to learn about where the industry is headed (with opinions of your own).
