Influence Marketing Team

Within the broader strategic department, the resource will be placed in the influencer marketing team, tasked with identifying, collaborating with, and managing partnerships with key influencers to promote client brands across social media platforms. This team develops strategies to engage the target audience, creating authentic and compelling content that reflects the brand identity. Additionally, in partnership with the Research & Insight Team, it monitors campaign performance and analyses data to optimise the effectiveness of influencer marketing activities.

Role Purpose

As an Influence Specialist at We Are Social, you will be responsible for leading the regional influencer offering and driving top line business growth by developing and marketing our influencer proposition.

As an Influence Specialist, you will collaborate with teams across the agency to develop innovative creator and influencer strategies, while ensuring that we plan and implement efficient, authentic and targeted influencer campaigns for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Constant and ongoing research of Creators, Talent, and Influencers, as well as major cases and projects related to the world of Influencer Marketing.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the influencer marketing landscape and key trends across platforms, both locally and internationally.
  • Work closely with the creative department and actively participate in the creative brainstorming process 
  • Conceptualize and implement creative campaigns with influencers, taking into account the target group, marketing goals, and budget planning.
  • Participate in client presentation and engagement initiatives to enhance the agency’s overall expertise in the influencer domain.
  • In collaboration with the network and Research & Insight team, continually improve the measurement mechanics of influencer marketing projects.
  • Oversee research, contracts, and ongoing management of influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct price negotiations, prepare briefings, and coordinate content.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in media/communication sciences, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in influencer management/marketing, preferably in an agency context.
  • High affinity and passion for social media.
  • Intuition for current trends and developments.
  • Strong hands-on mentality.
  • Experience working with influencers and managing talent relationships.
  • Culturally connected with an obsession for pop culture.
  • Experience in creating content for social media and leading measurement efforts for social and/or influencer programs, including benchmark calibration and performance analysis.
  • Experience working with influencers on new or emerging platforms (TikTok, Twitch, etc.).
