YouTube unveils new AI & creator features

YouTube has announced a suite of new features, including conversational feed creation, episodic Shorts Series to make the most of micro-drama trends, and AI-powered editing assistants integrated with Google’s Gemini Omni model. The platform is also rolling out real-time live auto-dubbing in English and Spanish, expanding multi-thumbnail testing, and launching new AI tools within YouTube Studio to help creators draft pitch proposals for brand partnerships.

Snapchat rolls out chat-to-song feature

Snapchat has introduced new generative AI features to its app, including a “Chat to Song” tool that lets users generate audio tracks and musical snippets directly from text prompts inside chat threads.

X upgrades third-party livestreaming

X has launched an updated livestream API to improve video broadcasting and third-party integration. The new API lets creators and brands use external streaming platforms to schedule broadcasts, manage persistent RTMP feeds, and moderate live chats with options to mute or kick out viewers.

Meta introduces Threads-specific business permissions

Meta has added new access controls to Meta Business Suite, letting brands  grant team members access specifically to manage Threads accounts – without giving them full permission to link Facebook Pages or Instagram profiles. The update helps businesses delegate community management tasks without exposing all social credentials.
