Are you a keen people watcher who also knows their way around Excel? Are you interested in Psychology, Sociology and Anthropology, as well as #BigData and #DataViz? Do you enjoy collecting, structuring, manipulating and analysing data in order to find hidden truths about the ways people behave? Then we want to hear from you!

We’ve had a spectacular start to 2015 here at We Are Social, with some big new client wins and some great projects launching for a number of household name brands. As a result, we’re looking to hire a number of amazing individuals for our Singapore team.

So, if you’d like the chance to join the World’s Best Digital / Social Agency, now is the time! We’re always happy to hear from great candidates at all levels, but we currently have a particular need for strategic insights specialists to join our renowned Research & Insight team.

We’re looking for people at a few different levels within the team, but some things will be true of everyone:

Firstly, you’re naturally curious, and a true anthropologist at heart; you enjoy people watching, but you also know how to look for the why as well as the what, and you have a knack for identifying and understanding people’s motivations.

At the same time, you’re more than comfortable with numbers, and you’re not afraid to share your passion for data with internal teams and clients. Patterns and trends in data seem to jump out at you. You’ve had some experience using social media monitoring tools, even if that’s just been for personal curiosity. You’re totally at ease manipulating vast amounts of data in Excel, and know when to use a VLOOKUP instead of a Pivot Table.

Critically, you also know that data needs to be interpreted before it can add real value, and you know how to translate numbers into valuable strategic insights, as well as explain those findings to other people who are intimidated by, or even skeptical of data.

Lastly, you’d like to play an important part in changing the way that brands relate to their consumers. You know that great communicators listen more than they talk, and you’d like to help brands adopt that wisdom by making better use of social media monitoring, analysis and interpretation.
