Our April 2020 Digital Statshot revealed that there are now over 800m active monthly users on TikTok globally, placing the platform just after Instagram in terms of user volume. With numbers like this, and a host of global brands - including Burger King and Chipotle - actively using the platform as part of their marketing mix, it’s safe to say that TikTok is no longer an emerging platform, but a core player in the social media space.
