Content creators rejoice! Facebook adds new monetization options for doing what you love 💰💰
Shoutout to all content creators! 📣 You can now start to monetize from videos as short as a minute long, only with a minimally interruptive ad running at 30s. For longer videos at three minutes or longer, an ad can be shown 45s in.
On top of that, if hosting on live-streams is your thing, you’ll be happy to hear that Facebook is opening up its live video monetization to creators where fans can donate their favorite streamers money with stars.
Good news gets even better when it comes in threes! Facebook’s also looking to expand its fan subscriptions tools into more regions, and that just means more reach for your content. So stay tuned for more on this!

A new way to browse through after suspending physical printing.
Swedish retailer IKEA has now transformed their annual print catalog to a podcast format, available on Spotify, YouTube and audiobooks.com. IKEA’s 2021 final catalog is now being turned into a nearly four-hour podcast with a narrator flicking through each page and describing what’s in it.
The audiobook aims to create a new immersive experience for the listeners to get inspired and think of it as a “tour for your ears”. Each section of the podcast catalog is broken down by chapter and focuses on topics such as “How to Get Organize Absolutely Everything” and “How to Get Set for Great Sleep”. Not only does it save paper, it is contactless, convenient and handy, and filled with inspirational vivid product descriptions for your listening pleasures.
This new brilliant approach has definitely extended a benefit by being an inclusive community to the blind and visually impaired users to easily navigate the audio catalog instead of having to rely heavily on as an assistive device to read the content for them.
A new source for your design inspiration.
