Meta announces new AI Mode

Meta has announced new AI features on Facebook including an “AI Mode” . The new mode uses Meta AI to pull answers to questions from public posts on the platform. So, rather than scrolling through search results, users will be served with an answer based on posts on Facebook. Meta is also adding a tool that lets you change up your look with AI-powered photo presets and an editing tool with new collage cutouts and transition effects.

Threads celebrates huge milestone with new algorithm feature

After reaching 500 million monthly users, Threads has announced new features including “Your Algo” that gives users more control over their feed. The previous “Dear Algo” feature needed users to publicly post their preference but this new feature lets users privately edit their preferences. Your Algo is rolling out in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, and New Zealand. Threads is also bringing “Communities” out of beta, adding distinct Community icons and expanding Live Chats.

Snap launches new AI tools

Snapchat is launching an AI-powered chatbot as part of its Ads Manager. The bot will help advertisers with their goals and give guidance on campaign set up. It will also help correct any issues and improve performance. The platform has also added creative tools including “Smart upscale” and has announced a new AI-powered Snap Creator Network.

Pinterest launches set of AI-powered tools

Pinterest is launching an AI-powered business assistant in its Ad Manager. The assistant will give ad suggestions and data-backed feedback. The feature is currently only available to selected ad partners. The platform also announced “Model Context Protocol”, a new ad review tool called Pinterest Performance+, an Ask Pinterest app and new creative AI tools.
