Art Director Thailand Creative
The role

Responsibilities:
- Visual Concept Development: Lead the conceptualization and development of visual ideas and directions for campaigns across various media.
- Visual Execution & Guidance: Oversee the visual execution of creative projects, providing clear direction and feedback to designers, photographers, illustrators, and other visual artists.
- Brand Identity & Visual Language: Ensure that all visual elements align with the client’s brand identity and visual language guidelines.
- Collaboration with Copywriters: Partner closely with copywriters to develop integrated concepts where visual and verbal elements work harmoniously.
- Presentation of Creative Concepts: Articulate and present visual concepts and rationale effectively to internal teams and clients.
- Understanding Client Objectives: Interpret client briefs and strategic direction to develop visually effective and on-target creative solutions.
- Staying Current with Trends: Keep abreast of current design trends, visual styles, and emerging technologies to ensure the agency’s visual output remains fresh and innovative.
- Vendor Management (as needed): Source and manage external vendors such as photographers, illustrators, and production houses to ensure high-quality visual execution within budget and timelines.
- Mentorship & Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and visual team members, fostering their creative growth and development.
- Maintaining Quality Standards: Ensure all visual work adheres to the agency’s and client’s quality standards and brand guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Art Director in a fast-paced agency or in-house creative department.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of work and a clear understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and composition.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a creative team.
- Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate business goals into creative solutions.
- Experience with motion graphics, video production, or photography is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and partners.
- Fluent in Thai and English.
