United Kingdom Strategy

The role

Who We Are

We are a global socially-led creative agency, with unrivalled social media and influencer marketing expertise. With over 1,200 people in four continents, we deliver a global perspective to our clients in a time when social media is shaping culture.

We’re proud to be a multi award-winning agency, with Cannes Lions, One Show, Webby and Shorty Awards, to name but a few. Our most recent work has seen us help Amazon Music, Activision and Adidas deliver some of their biggest and most innovative campaigns to date.

As well as creating for clients, we help educate the wider industry. Our Instagram publication The Feed tracks culture at the speed of social. 6,500 people registered or tuned into our events last year, and our reports garnered more than 20 million views.

The Opportunity

Are you deeply immersed in both social culture and the world of sports fandom?

Do you understand how brand ambition, fan behaviour, and platform mechanics intersect?

Do you want to be part of a fast growing social agency with the backing of an iconic global creative agency?

We are looking for a Senior Social Strategist to join us in London. You are a social-native, culturally fluent thinker and doer with mandatory sports expertise and a non-negotiable understanding of how all brands grow on social. This role builds brands on social by combining platform craft, cultural intelligence, and commercial awareness with a strong grounding in sport and sports culture. You will translate business objectives into actionable, platform-native strategies that feel culturally sharp and commercially credible.

Please note: whilst this role will have a significant sports remit, the strategist will work across other non-sports brands.

Requirements

What You’ll Have Delivered Elsewhere

  • Secured business growth by translating brand and business goals into clear, commercially credible, social-first strategic approaches.
  • Optimised marketing spend by defining the high-impact role of social within wider campaigns and always-on ecosystems.
  • Generated innovative creative work by developing clear strategic narratives that successfully link audience insight to actionable creative opportunities.
  • Driven new business wins by contributing to pitches and proactive work with culturally acute strategic thinking.
  • Created successful engagement models leveraging a deep understanding of community behaviour across platforms.
  • Established authentic brand relevance by identifying culturally resonant moments, tensions, and territories for brands to authentically play in.
  • Increased content efficiency and consistency by designing robust content systems that balance reactive, episodic, and campaign-led thinking.
  • Driven value for clients by successfully distinguishing between attention, engagement, and meaningful, measurable brand impact.
  • Accelerated strategy performance by rigorously utilising performance data for refinement and continuous improvement.
  • Delivered effective, commercially focused results by ensuring all ideas were intentionally designed for business outcomes, not just surface-level engagement.
  • Maximised campaign reach and impact by collaborating seamlessly with Paid and Influencer teams to ensure integrated and scalable strategies.
  • Optimised ROI on partnerships by contributing to high-value creator and athlete partnership strategies rooted deeply in audience behaviour and platform performance.

What Else Are We Looking For?

  • Understand platform mechanics (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit) and how formats drive specific outcomes.
  • Strong experience in social strategy, ideally within sport or sports-adjacent brands.
  • Deep understanding of culture, fandom and live moments.
  • Fluency in platform mechanics, formats and algorithmic behaviour.
  • Knowledge of how sport travels across platforms and communities.
  • Awareness of sponsorship, rights, partnerships and athlete/creator dynamics.
