Meta’s Creator Marketplace gets new discovery features

Meta is introducing a host of discovery features for Creator Marketplace. Firstly, brands will now be able to see the creators who have tagged their brand or shown interest in partnering with them before. Essentially, creating a list of creators who are already keen to support your brand. Brands can also now search for “Similar Creators” to find similar partners to those you’ve worked with before. Meta is also highlighting creators who have extensive ad experience or are predecited to drive high-performing ads for a brand. Other updates include new badges, an updated homepage, expanded access, and more.

YouTube improves auto-dubbing tool

YouTube is expanding auto-dubbing to all creators after launching as a trial in 2024. Auto-dubbing allows creators to translate content into other languages – 27 different languages to be exact. YouTube is also introducing Expressive Speech, which “helps capture a creator’s original emotion and energy.” Expressive Speech will initially be available in 8 languages (English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish). And finally, YouTube is testing a lip sync feature to match translated audio to the original lip movements.

Meta is creating AI video app

Meta is testing a standalone app for AI-generated videos. Currently, users can create videos on Vibes via the Meta AI app. Meta confirmed the test, saying, “We’ve seen that users are increasingly leaning into the format to create, discover, and share AI-generated video with friends. This standalone app provides a dedicated home for that experience, offering people a more focused and immersive environment”.
