Meta has announced AI tools for advertisers to help them create alternative copies, background generation through text prompts and image cropping for Facebook or Instagram ads. The first feature lets brands generate different versions of the same ad for varying audiences – keeping the core message of the ad the same. The background feature simplifies creation of different assets and the image cropping feature helps companies create assets for different platforms, ensuring the correct sizing.
TikTok launches global music discovery hub, #NewMusic
TikTok has announced the launch of #NewMusic Search Hub, a dedicated space for artists around the world to showcase new songs and for users to discover new music. The #NewMusic hub will act as a destination for new music, highlighting new releases and making it easier for fans to discover the latest tracks from both new and established artists. TikTok is partnering with Jonas Brothers and Miguel to celebrate the launch – artists who have utilised the new music focus of TikTok.

TikTok has added a new element to its Marketing Partners Program by partnering with Smartly.io to facilitate video shopping ads – providing a new pathway to commerce. TikTok’s Video Shopping Ads guide users from a video to a check-out in the app, streamlining the shopping process within the TikTok feed. Smartly’s integration will enable brands to integrate their product catalogue and offers, ensuring the shopping process is smooth and efficient.

Elon has hired Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter, explaining that she will focus primarily on business operations, while he focuses on product design and new technology.
