People & Culture Coordinator

ABOUT THE ROLE

We Are Social is looking for a People & Culture (P&C) Coordinator to join our Sydney team on a full-time or part-time (3-4 days/week) basis.

Working with our P&C Manager, you’ll be the operational engine room of our people function. Beyond core HR administration, you’ll play a key role across the employee journey, creating seamless onboarding experiences, keeping our systems reliable, and bringing real energy to our culture, DE&I, and learning initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lifecycle Administration & People Operations

• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle administration, from onboarding and contract generation to performance review logistics and offboarding.
• Maintain HR system data integrity, policy updates, and compliance requirements.
• Operate as an approachable first point of contact for day-to-day team queries regarding policies, benefits, and workplace support.
• Support monthly payroll readiness by compiling employment changes and variations for Finance.

Talent Sourcing & Candidate Experience

• Partner with hiring managers to source, screen, and build talent pipelines for agency roles.
• Coordinate recruitment logistics and maintain engaging, clear communication to deliver a standout candidate experience.

L&D, Culture & DE&I

• Coordinate agency learning and development activities, and external training logistics.
• Support DE&I initiatives and activities that drive team connection, boost morale, and champion our agency culture.

ABOUT YOU

• 1–2+ years of experience in HR administration, recruitment coordination, or a fast-paced agency operations role.
• You take genuine pride in data accuracy, tight organisation, and keeping processes running seamlessly behind the scenes.
• Approachable, collaborative, and communicative,you build quick rapport with everyone from interns to senior leadership.
• A true “can-do, will-do” mindset with the adaptability to pivot easily in a dynamic creative environment.
