What do Dame Judi Dench and John Cena have in common? Apart from their assumed shared passion for wrestling, they are now both voices on Meta AI. In a new update, Meta has developed AI voices that can now respond out loud to your questions using a well-known voice – others include Keegan-Michael Key, Awkwafina and Kristen Bell.
Elon Musk has confirmed that X is removing the block button for public accounts – meaning that blocked users will now be able to view a post, but still not engage with it. As with most recent changes on the platform, it’s been met with criticism.
Meta has given its Avatars a whole new look with lots more customizable features, meaning it will be even easier to create realistic avatars of yourself. These updates include AI-generated clothing, detailed face structure options and a variety of facial expressions. Further updates have been teased such as dressing up your avatar in costumes such as Captain America or even Doja Cat’s bejewelled Fashion Week look.
Marilyn Monroe had a signature scent and Jennifer Aniston had a signature 90s haircut, so it’s only fair that Instagram has a signature sound – right? Well, it now does! In a recent update, the platform announced a new sound that will be played at the end of each Reel on the app. Some have compared the sound to an error message but Instagram feels it “captures the essence of Instagram, in one simple audio hit.” We’ll let you decide that for yourself.
