X is bringing back Voice Notes on its messaging app, X chat. The app is currently in beta testing on iOS and is essentially an upgrade to X’s regular DMs. The voice note feature will be available on group chats and private messaging, and appears as a voice input icon in the corner of the text box. Currently, X Chat also has features including: edit and delete messages, get notified of screenshots, share files, make calls, and set messages to automatically disappear.
The time has come. Meta has finally released its AI model named Muse Spark. The first model in Meta’s Superintelligence Labs project, Muse Spark, is now available on the web and the Meta AI app. The model uses multiple AI agents at once to work on one prompt, and Meta intends to start rolling out a “Contemplating” mode, which will tackle more complex problems. Muse Spark users will need to log in with an existing Meta account to use it.
YouTube is bringing Google’s latest AI image generation tools to its video editing app, YouTube Create. Users can now generate content within the app using Google’s Nano Banana image generation model. As explained by YouTube: “This upgrade will allow you to use text prompts and reference images to create Gen AI images. You can upload up to three images from your device’s media gallery to serve as ingredients for the generation.”
