The role

We Are looking for a Senior Social Media Manager on a 12 month FTC to join a well established team to work on an exciting roster of iconic global brands at We Are Social to come up with exciting social content.

Our most recent work has seen us help Pepsi, Meta and Adidas deliver some of their biggest and most innovative campaigns to date, from breaking into the metaverse to smashing records on TikTok. 

As well as creating for clients, we help educate the wider industry. Our Instagram publication The Feed tracks culture at the speed of social. 6,500 people registered or tuned into our events last year, and our reports garnered more than 20 million views.

We Are looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to join a well established team to work on an exciting roster of iconic global brands at We Are Social to come up with exciting social content. This role is a 12 month FTC. You’ll be a platform whizz with a deep knowledge of social best practices and your ideas will connect brands within communities and culture – not just adding to the noise, but building and creating real connections that are acknowledged and celebrated by the client.


What You’ll Have Delivered Elsewhere

  • Successfully been a day-to-day content lead where you are ideating, proactively seeking approvals, creating, editing, refining, and iterating content that has resulted in high engagement and created viral moments within communities.
  • Managed publication of long, medium, and reactive content calendars that have successfully leveraged key trending moments.
  • Supported the creation of content strategies and playbooks that have been successfully adopted to ensure that content best practices are followed and implemented.
  • Management of a team who have delivered high quality content, at pace and has been recognised for doing so by the client and internal teams.
  • You will have been on shoots where you have been able to support the capture of social first content that has then been utilised and proven successful when reviewing content performance 

What Else Are We Looking For?

  • You will be able to take briefs from ideation and insight through to creation with ease and confidence 
  • Presenting to clients and internal teams on your content ideas with strategic insights, trends, and data, that have then been adopted.
  • You will have skills from copywriting and editing copy to shooting TikToks and making memes.
