Threads announce a host of new features

Meta’s Adam Mosseri has announced that Threads users can now view metrics on individual posts on the Insights dashboard. This includes tracking trends, views, followers, geographic demographics, and types of post interactions. Users are also able to schedule posts through the three-dot menu on the post composer. He also said that Threads is adding a new feature that allows users to “mark up” a post they’re resharing, while he didn’t explain what that meant, keen eyes have spotted it likely means adding reactions, using highlighter tools and being able to draw directly on a post.
Meta adds WhatsApp cross-posting

Meta users will soon be able to cross-post their WhatsApp Status as Stories on Instagram and Facebook. Users can also log in to multiple Meta apps (i.e. Instagram, Threads, Facebook) with the same account through the “Single Sign On” feature. And, even with the new integration, WhatsApp messages and calls will remain end-to-end encrypted.
Meta introduces bonuses for creators posting Reels

Meta is introducing a new incentive system for creators, offering up to $5,000 in bonuses for posting Reels on Facebook and Instagram. These creators will also be able to access the Facebook Content Monetization program, which rewards creators for all forms of content – not just Reels. And for a lucky few, Meta will offer content deals to help creators grow their audiences on Instagram and Facebook – including a one-year trial of Meta Verified.
Instagram shares tips on beating the algorithm
