Success at the BIMA Awards
It was the BIMA Awards last night at Heaven (an interesting choice of venue), ably hosted by Alastair Duncan. It was a packed house and it turned into a fun evening (or at least until everyone’s free drinks vouchers ran out).
Our friends at Saint@RKCR/Y&R cleaned up in the awards, winning 7 in total, including the Grand Prix for their Recode/Decode project for the V&A. However, everyone at We Are Social came away pretty happy, with 3 BIMAs in our pockets – our Little break, Big difference campaign for Eurostar won the Leisure & Travel category (beating AKQA’s True City app for Nike amongst others, which was both pleasing and surprising) and our Marmarati campaign for Unilever won both the Engagement and Consumer Goods & Services categories.
