The royal wedding: apathy or excitement?
To see us all off before the UK’s long weekend of national pride and rule britannia we thought we’d update you all on what the social interwebs think about the royal wedding.
As you can imagine, feelings on Twitter are mixed but it appears that the don’t give a s***” camp have a slight edge over the ‘excited’ – a 53%-47% split, with the don’t give a s***’s picking up pace over the past couple of days.*
OK, to be honest, this isn’t the most scientific piece of research that We Are Social have conducted, and I’d like to personally reassure our current and future clients that our research work is in fact more robust than this, but before a long weekend we just couldn’t resist 🙂
Have a great weekend!
*For the Boolean query boffins amongst you :
So excited query : ((royal AND wedding) OR (#rw2011 OR #royalwedding)) AND (“so excited” OR “im excited” OR “i’m excited” OR “really excited” OR “very excited” OR “mega excited” OR “can’t wait” OR “cant wait” OR “looking forward to” OR proud) AND NOT “not looking forward to”
Don’t give a s*** query : ((royal AND wedding) OR (#rw2011 OR #royalwedding)) AND (bored OR sick OR tired OR boring OR hate OR “had enough” OR “no more” OR “couldn’t care” OR “not looking forward” OR “dont care” OR “don’t care” OR “don’t give a shit” OR “don’t give a dam” OR “don’t give a damm”)
