Next generation media
Our friend Dan Calladine, Head of Media Futures at Aegis Media, has kindly agreed to share his latest Next Generation Media Quarterly with us. Robin is secretly happy to be one of the Google+ users shown on slide 36.
My role involves keeping a track on what’s happening in digital media. However living in the moment can get very confusing, and a bit overloaded, so every three months I try to condense down the most interesting stories, examples and stats into a presentation.
This is a selection of stories from the past three months, including the launch of Google+ and the continued rise of smartphones, plus some great creative examples, including iPad games for cats, and the winning ‘Splitscreen’ film, made using two Nokia N8 films. Have a look:
