HarperCollins preview novel on Facebook
Here at We Are Social Sydney, we’ve been working with HarperCollins to launch a new Facebook App for popular Australian author Belinda Alexandra to help promote her latest novel, Golden Earrings.
In order to help generate interest in Golden Earrings, we’re giving readers the chance to preview 30 pages of the novel on Belinda Alexandra’s Facebook page.
Golden Earrings is Belinda’s fifth novel and is the story of two women and the extremes to which they are willing to go for love. Filled with passion and betrayal, the novel is set between two great cities; Barcelona in the lead up to the Spanish Civil War and Paris in the 1970s.
To access the 30 page extract, all you need to do is ‘Like’ the page and say something about the book on Facebook or Twitter. After reading the extract you can then purchase Golden Earrings with an extra 10% discount on a print copy from Borders or Angus & Robertson booksellers. You can also download the e-book from iTunes.
The Golden Earrings app represents a collaboration between HarperCollins and We Are Social to help bring the publishing industry into the social space, acknowledging the influence of social media on the perception and success of brands.
