The attitudes of Pinterest users
Adweek has published the following Infographic, based on a Pinterest media consumption study by Ahalogy. The Infographic challenges a lot of the assumptions people tend to make about Pinterest (e.g. it’s all mums and craft hobbyists). For example, Pinterest users have 9% higher income than non-users, wielding more purchasing power.
What’s particularly interesting for marketers is that the study has found that users don’t mind ads on the platform that add value. 83% would rather follow a brand than a celebrity on the platform, and 73% of users were neutral to positive about Promoted Pins.
