Want fuller lips in a jiffy? No problem when you have Benefit's new They're Real, Double the Lip!
Our newest cosmetics client, Benefit UK, challenged us to create a digital campaign for the launch of their new lipstick and liner in one. They asked for activity that not only highlighted the product’s USPs (lipstick & liner with an easy application), but also got their community of Benebabes excited to try out the eight different shades.
We used #AGoodPair to encourage girls up and down the country to grab their best friend, and showcase what a great pair they make.
Incentivised with the chance to win a pamper day and to become the faces of the new product, our Benebabes got entering across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, as well as creating images of them and their bestie with our Snapchat filters.

We kicked the campaign off with a 3D Instagram post, before launching three challenge videos across platforms, that challenged our Benebabe models to get fuller lips in any situation. First up, Beat the Wobble - can our girls beat the wobble board to apply a perfect coat of Double the Lip?
Secondly, our girls Beat the Clock and rummaged through their bags to apply the perfect lipstick and liner in one, and finally, Beat the Blindfold saw our girls creating the perfect pout, without being able to see! You can watch each of the challenge videos on the Benefit UK Facebook page.
But what about our #AGoodPair winners? They created their own Double the Lip content at their studio shoot on the 18th February, before heading out for dinner and enjoying the evening in a London hotel, courtesy of Benefit.
It’s been a fantastic start to our work with Benefit, and we can’t wait to showcase our #AGoodPair winners as they become the face of They’re Real, Double the Lip. The campaign has been a great example of putting social thinking at the heart of marketing, and a sign that Benefit UK and We Are Social are definitely #AGoodPair.
