Meta releases new AI features

Meta is starting to integrate more and more AI features across its apps. Select Messenger and WhatsApp users now have access to an “AI Studio”, which features AI characters to chat with. And, more Instagram users are gaining access to build AI characters via the “Create” tools. And soon, they’ll be able to give their AI characters a voice too.
X has added a new element to its AI bot Grok with users now able to edit specific elements of an image using text prompts. Users type the edits they want to see, such as “add a black hat” and Grok will generate a few different versions to pick from. X is also working on video creation tools.
After a few months of testing, Threads has officially rolled out topic tags on profiles, giving users a new way to highlight topics related to their interests. These topics are also being highlighted in the post composer with new prompts, suggesting trending topics, or ones related to previous posts shared. New post control options allow users to limit replies and quote posts to followers only, And finally, users can now personalise the order of their feed.
LinkedIn has introduced two new analytics features for post and newsletter performance. Users can now customise timeframes to track post performance based on impressions and engagements, rather than relying on preset options. Additionally, Newsletter posts now include new metrics: Email Sends (the number of times a newsletter was sent via email) and Open Rate.
