Meta is expanding its “Vibes” AI video feed to users in Europe. The feed can be found in the Meta AI app and is essentially an AI version of TikTok or Instagram Reels. You can create and share videos using prompts or remix someone else’s video. You can also add visuals, music, and adjust styles.
TikTok is launching three new generative AI tools that are built into the TikTok composer. The image-to-video tool works by uploading a photo and describing how you want it to move, the text-to-video tool lets you type what video you want, and the AI transition tool works by describing how your first frame should transform into the last.
Threads has added new time management features, which will tell you when you’ve spent a certain amount of time (doom) scrolling your feed. Through Account Settings, you can view how much time you’ve spent on Threads each day and add alerts to warn you when you’re reaching a certain time.
YouTube has launched an “Edit with AI” tool, which will generate a first draft of your video using the raw footage. YouTube has also added new voiceover options for AI-generated clips. YouTube now also offers a clearer split in its analytics, allowing creators to easily compare the performance metrics of their paid (promoted) content against their organic (standard) videos.
TikTok is expanding access to its Bulletin Boards feature, which lets brands and creators update with their most engaged followers. Users that are lucky enough to have access will have a link to a Bulletin Board under their username. ICYMI – Bulletin Boards are similar to Instagram’s Broadcast Channels, and give creators a space to share text, image or video updates in short messages.
