THE BRIEF
BAFTA’s awards are its highest profile public-facing events, entertaining and inspiring millions of film fans and aspiring creatives around the world. Our in-house production division, We Are Social Studios, was tasked with leading the official social coverage of the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards and the 2025 BAFTA Television Awards. BAFTA wanted to entertain new and diverse audiences across social platforms, driving increased viewership with platform-authentic content.
Capturing a moment in time
Creative, social-first production can make an impact. Working with Amity Studio, we captured red carpet content and an elevated cinematic ‘Winners Run’ backstage activation. The backstage activation was designed as a visual experience, giving winners and presenters the chance to celebrate their moment in a social-first yet cinematic way. We set up a specialised rig of 32 cameras, capturing winners and transforming a static moment into a spectacular motion sequence alongside more candid BTS shots.
