\ Senior Designer - Maternity Cover

We're looking for an experienced Senior Designer with a background in social media, digital design, art direction, film and photography to join us on a 10-month maternity cover contract.

Our design department is a multi-disciplinary team of designers, art directors, photographers, videographers, video editors, animators, 3D designers, illustrators and graphic designers - all obsessed with great storytelling and social innovation.

Joining the team as a confident design lead, you'll be able to own projects across multiple clients and create opportunities within the agency and for our clients. Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 7 years' agency experience, with the ability to concept, capture and design best in class social content. Your day-to-day will involve leading hands-on design projects, collaborating with Creatives, overseeing and guiding Junior Designers and working closely with Creative Producers, Project Managers and Client Services teams to plan and scope upcoming projects. In addition, you’ll be responsible for art directing shoots and capturing content on set.

What we’re looking for:
- Senior designer with 7+ years of agency experience
- Background in social media, digital design, art direction, film and photography
- Big brand experience
- Leadership experience
- Expert knowledge of Adobe CS
- Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier and InDesign
- Clinical graphic design ability - image-making, type and layout
- Strong art direction skills
- Concept & innovation-driven

- Able to direct shoots
- Comfortable editing films and applying animation/motion
