A winning few weeks for We Are Social

We Are Social’s global managing director, Robin Grant, has taken the top spot in this year’s Social Buzz Top 50, published by The Drum. Here, he talks through some of the agency’s recent wins, off the back of a very successful year for We Are Social.

It’s been another unbelievable few weeks of awards for We Are Social, for both our teams in the UK and Italy. The run of success kicked off when our Milan office nailed it at the ADCI Awards with #SeAndiamoInFinale for Juventus.

They picked up not one, not two but three awards for the campaign, with a Gold in Integrated: Digital Integrated Campaign and two Bronzes in Cyber: Social Media and Branded Content: Branded Live Experience. The team’s BMW Italia Stories Collection picked up a Bronze in Branded Content: Creative Social Content & Editorial, too.

Clearly on a roll, just a few days later the Milan team went along to the Twitter Awards, where ‪#‎SeAndiamoInFinale proved a winner yet again, picking up a Gold for the best creative campaign of 2015!

Not to be outdone by their Italian colleagues, our London office has also had a massive few award-winning weeks. At the Social Buzz Awards, the team were delighted to pick up best Travel/Leisure/Sports campaign for Gamedayplus for adidas.





Not only that, but we picked up the big prize of the night – Agency of the Year, as well as me picking up one for Individual of the Year – which to be honest, was also an award won by the whole of We Are Social. You can see our less than Oscar worthy acceptance speeches below.



Drawing the last manic few weeks to a close, last night we went along to The Drum Network Awards. adidas: Gamedayplus was successful once again, not only picking up Best Leisure & Tourism Campaign/Strategy of the Year, but also awarded the Campaign/Strategy Grand Prix for the judges’ stand-out campaign of the whole evening.

All in all, another fantastic few weeks for We Are Social, and I’m incredibly proud of all the amazing work our teams are doing, all over the world. So far, 2015 has been one of our best years yet – which is going to be hard to beat in 2016. However, rest assured we’ll be giving it a go!
