Requirements

The Opportunity
Do you live and breathe social?

Are you obsessed with understanding and executing on the social-craft that gets dm-worthy videos ranked on the algorithm?

Do you want to create award-winning social-first creative content for iconic brands?

This is a hands-on, technical role for a hybrid Social Editor and Motion Designer who excels at the art of the social remix. You are someone who goes beyond standard cut-downs to craft playful, visually-arresting content ranging from lo-fi to premium, mindful of platform-native hacking. You will take full ownership of this discipline and daily execution, transforming assets into unexpected, hook-driven stories that define the level of our social-first output.

What You’ll Have Delivered Elsewhere

  • Previously worked as a Senior Social Editor, Motion Designer, Senior Content Creator, or similar, with a strong track record of transforming existing assets into engaging, social-first content.
  • Demonstrated success in generating both reactive and proactive creative ideas, remixing shot footage, edited campaigns and brand assets into high-performing Reels, Stories and carousels.
  • Moved beyond traditional cut-downs and horizontal edits, creating visually distinctive, platform-native content designed to maximise engagement.
  • Built a portfolio showcasing a broad range of remixed social video, incorporating motion graphics, native platform UI elements and, where appropriate, light CGI techniques.
  • Delivered everything from rapid-turnaround lo-fi edits to complex, large-scale content projects, often managing multiple outputs simultaneously.
  • Produced a consistent stream of high-quality social-first content and assets tailored to the unique requirements of each platform.
  • Applied performance-led editing principles, creating and testing content variations to improve engagement and campaign effectiveness.
  • Leveraged a strong understanding of motion design to elevate creative concepts and translate big campaign ideas into compelling social executions.
  • Demonstrated mastery of hooks, pacing, transitions and visual storytelling to create thumb-stopping content that drives attention and action.
  • Taken ownership of the post-production process from concept through to final delivery.
  • Identified and amplified hook-worthy moments within existing content, reimagining assets to resonate with new audiences and social behaviours.
  • Owned the content creation and production workflow, building scalable systems that support efficient, high-volume output.
  • Maintained advanced proficiency across Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and mobile-first editing tools such as CapCut.
  • Developed and maintained templates, asset libraries and file structures that enable teams to produce content consistently, efficiently and at scale.

What Else Are We Looking For?

  • A solution-oriented self-starter who combines creative autonomy with hands-on execution.
  • A strong understanding of how to adapt and remix social formats to create content that taps into culture, trends and audience behaviours.
  • Proven ability to lead the creative transformation of brand assets, ensuring all content is culturally relevant, platform-native and ready for distribution.
  • An original thinker who can independently generate compelling video concepts, rather than simply responding to a traditional edit brief.
  • Deep expertise across design disciplines, including layout, typography and motion design.
  • Confidence using AI-powered tools to enhance creative development, asset production and workflow efficiency.
  • A maker mindset, with the ability to develop ideas from scratch or unlock opportunities from existing footage while remaining aligned to brand strategy.
  • Experience mentoring and upskilling cross-functional teams, fostering excellence in social-first creative thinking and remix culture.
  • A passion for introducing new processes and ways of working that strengthen collaboration and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Data-literate, with the ability to use performance insights to refine hooks, storytelling and pacing.
  • Naturally curious and highly engaged with the fast-moving social media landscape, emerging platforms and evolving content trends.
