Senior Content Strategist (Freelance) Singapore Strategy

Our Strategy department is a crucial part of the Agency’s success. We help clients place Social Thinking at the heart of their marketing, focusing on understanding people and the evolving role of social to uncover powerful, socially-driven, data-informed insights that deliver real business value.
We are currently looking for a Freelance Senior Content Strategist to join our team, from November 2025 to May/June 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Planning team to develop strategic proposals, through conducting research in social listening, competitor audits, and best-in-class social media practices.
- Lead and advise the team to ensure all content complies with brand guidelines.
- Provide guidance on optimal post formats across all social platforms, and stay abreast of the latest updates and innovations across channels.
- Establish the Content Strategy (CS) team as the agency’s subject matter expert on all things social media.
- Design, audit, and continuously improve social monitoring efforts across accounts.
- Remain updated on the latest trends and developments within the client’s industry landscape, including competitors, influencers, and relevant partners.
- Identify emerging trends and partnership opportunities, and proactively recommend ways to generate relevant social conversations.
- Maintain and enhance the quality of reports produced by the CS team by aligning insights and recommendations to client needs, and presenting data through effective visualisation.
- Plan, design, and implement new data systems and processes for onboarding new accounts.
- Act as a trusted consultant and adviser to internal teams on data analytics and reporting matters, based on client requirements.
- Explore and evaluate new advertising technology solutions (both free and paid) to enhance current data systems and integrate them into strategic workflows.
- Serve as the central knowledge point for all CS tools, and make informed recommendations when current tools do not meet strategic servicing needs.
- Understand team capacity and effectively delegate tasks within the CS team.
- Ensure CS team resources are allocated efficiently across all agency accounts.
- Provide weekly updates to the Head of Strategy, including topline summaries of task statuses, team resourcing, and any CS-related issues that require escalation.
- Lead and mentor the CS team in strengthening their capabilities in data analytics, visualisation, and strategic thinking.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
- Ability to commit full-time from November 2025 to May/June 2026.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in social media work in advertising, PR, or a similar field.
- Proven experience in leading and managing social media properties such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok on a global/regional scale, and experience with managing user-generated content campaigns or communities. Knowledge of Twitch or other social channels will be a plus.
- Proven experience in data analytics for social media, such as database design/setup, social listening, integrating different data points for holistic analysis, and deriving insights for channel/content optimisation using data analysis and creative thinking. Able to showcase and articulate his/her knowledge in measurement metrics mapping across client objectives
- Able to exercise good judgment on what is considered a good content strategy.
- Experience in social analytics/ listening tools such as Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Sysomos, or Talkwalker is required.
- Experience in managing social media properties of regional/ global accounts, preferably tech-brand accounts.
- Working knowledge of additional analytics/ ad tech tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Power BI, and Tableau will be a plus.
- Experience in leading teams, as well as client and project management.
- Team player with strong attention to detail. Able to lead and inspire teammates by example.
- Demonstrate strong social/ cultural curiosity and a clear understanding of current social trends and technology.
