A few weeks ago, we got suited and booted for the BIMA Awards 2018. Our Audi, Domino’s and adidas teams were up for three awards in the ‘Communications and Content’ and ‘Emerging Technologies’ categories.
It was a fantastic evening of well-deserved wins across the board, and we were stoked to walk away with a wicked new trophy to add to We Are Social Sport’s already burgeoning cabinet - picking up the ‘Communications and Content: Innovation’ award for adidas Running’s ultraBOOST Xeno campaign. 🥂🍾

The simple campaign saw our Sport team take quick advantage of the (then) new platform innovation Instagram Story Polls, to build excitement around the new reflective adidas ultraBOOST Xeno shoe and achieve cut through with runners and sneaker-heads.
Understanding that for the modern runner, running has become a form of individual expression and that they want to look good doing it, we used the Story Polls functionality to give fans the chance to select between two colourway options, completely customising every part of the shoe. Participation was incentivised by the opportunity to win one of 50 of the final limited edition shoes.
