TikTok promotes microdramas

TikTok is giving brands a helping hand promoting microdramas in the app. The soap opera-style videos can now be shared through a new ad option called “TikTok Growth Max.” TikTok Growth Max will “leverage advertising automation and onsite signals to reach high-intent audiences.” The platform predicts that TikTok Growth Max campaigns can drive a “52% increase in incremental audience reach.”
Meta launches Instagram Stories for AI glasses

If you’ve managed to get your hands on a pair of Meta AI-powered glasses, this is for you. Meta is launching custom Stories on Instagram exclusively for smart glasses content. A Spin View mode lets viewers turn their devices to get a panoramic-style perspective, multi-cam sync automatically syncs phone and glasses content and users will be able to edit their shots directly within the Instagram Stories composer.
Threads adds new features to Live Chat
Threads is making a few updates to its new Live Chat feature. One update focuses on allowing all “Community Champions” (which Threads call users who have a large following and regularly post communities) to start Live Chats. Hosts can also now invite up to three co-hosts into their Live Chat and can delete messages for everyone.
TikTok launches AI hub

TikTok has launched a new integrated hub for AI-powered tools which will let advertisers use a wider range of AI features when creating campaigns. The Agentic Hub will help with every step of campaign creation from creative generation to catalog management and audience insight. Multiple provider tools are already in hub, including HubSpot, Wix, Constant Contact and Mobvista.
LinkedIn launches new AI ad tools

LinkedIn has announced new AI-powered tools for in-app promotions. This includes officially launching its brand kit which lets brands set colours, fonts, logos, etc, which can then be referenced in future AI prompts. There is also an AI-powered copy generation tool which creates promotions based on the URL entered. The platform is also rolling out flexible ad creation and new ad variants.
X updates livestream features

X is updating its livestream offering by making it easier to schedule and run broadcasts in the app. Through the Creator Studio platform, the update live composer gives streamers a more streamlined process including simplified setup on desktop, chat control options, thumbnail uploads, and more. Once live, a dashboard will also show audience insights.
