The HP Sauce Movember Challenge


So, it’s that hairy lipped time of year again! As you may have read in The Drum or The Marketing Blog, we’re working with HP Sauce UK to launch a Facebook campaign to support men’s health charity, Movember, that kicks off tomorrow.

Over the last few weeks, the team here at We Are Social has built up momentum on the HP Sauce Facebook page to help raise awareness of the moustache-growing initiative, encouraging HP Sauce’s social community to sign up to four weekly challenges through our app – the HP Sauce Movember challenge.

The app has been open for registration over the last few weeks, and the challenges go live tomorrow. Once a ‘Mo Bro’ (as Movember participants are known!) has registered to grow a Mo at, they can get involved in the campaign by completing our challenges, such as uploading pictures of their own moustache efforts, or by organising ‘Mo Bro’ meet ups to compare their top lip efforts.

HP Sauce will also be adding a bit of incentive to our Mo growers by working with Movember to choose the best Mo upload every week, with winners receiving a £50 top up for their Mo fund account.

There are also 500 ‘kick start’ five-pound top ups that will be given away throughout the month to those signing up to the app – and at the end of the month, an overall winner will be chosen based on all four rounds and given a £500 charitable donation to help with their ultimate fund goal.
