LINE is the fastest growing social app
GlobalWebIndex has produced an infographic showing that LINE is the fastest growing social/chat app, with the platform seeing a 57% increase in active users year-on-year.
Facebook Messenger has also shown a strong growth with a 53% rise, likely due to the fact that the app is now compulsory for those who want to send Facebook messages on mobile, as well as the platform offering extensive new functions on the service. Snapchat has also put in a good growth performance, with a 45% increase in active users over the last year.
