The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced, strategically-minded social media manager who is to sit within our Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, strategic, creative, socially-savvy, highly organized, detail oriented, a strong copywriter, content creator, and a problem solver. You should be able to react quickly in a fast paced environment, taking ownership of delivering our best work. You should be truly passionate about social media, what trends are shaping it, what best practice looks like and how brands, celebrities, influencers, and creators are changing the landscape. This ideal candidate also has experience working with Food & Beverage and/or CPG brands.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a dedicated social media manager and content creator for a major CPG food brand, working side by side our client brand team to execute the brand’s social media content strategy.
  • Develop strategic creative briefs to be delivered to our creator, creative, and production teams.
  • Build, manage, execute, distribute and publish a schedule of content that speaks to key moments in culture and ensures optimal execution of platform features (sounds, hashtags, filters, etc) and best practices.
  • Plan, develop and produce social content, utilizing native platform features, creative filters and sounds to produce innovative, original content with quick turnaround times
  • Build and maintain relevant and strong relationships with influencers in the food space
  • Encourage audience engagement through active community management across multiple platforms
  • Hone in on a platform voice and tone that ladders up to the overall brand social strategy
  • Serve as the main point of contact for our client, responsible for day to day communication with the brand team both on emails and calls
  • Presenting content to client, accurately actioning feedback
  • Thorough understanding of the brand compass and the social strategy and how it plays out in your day to day role

Requirements

  • Serial social media user who can show a deep understanding of social platforms – personal or professional examples of content you’ve created will be extremely valuable
  • Interest in food, beverage, or CPG industry
  • Strong conceptual and creative mind
  • Ability to develop and implement social media strategies
  • Previous experience running a social channel for a brand
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Strong community management abilities
  • Strong visual eye and experience in graphic design
  • Social platform knowledge and expertise, especially on Instagram
  • Track and analyze key social metrics
  • Client account management
  • Independent operator with excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
